The Bayelsa State Government and the nation have been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden death of the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Oborawharievwo Ewhrudjakpo, who passed away at the age of 60.

  • ​Confirmation of Death: Despite the swift efforts, Senator Ewhrudjakpo was later confirmed dead.

​Born on September 5, 1965, the late Deputy Governor was a well-respected figure in Nigerian politics. His professional life included roles as a trained administrator and lawyer.
