Davido Paternity Scandal: Anu’s Mother Declares War on Adeleke Wealth and Influence
-By Ruben Mario Brodrick
The long-standing paternity dispute involving Afrobeats superstar Davido has taken a dramatic turn. The mother of 12-year-old Anuoluwapo has broken her silence, issuing a scathing rebuttal to the Adeleke family. In a strongly worded statement, she accused the billionaire family of using their wealth to silence her while categorically denying claims of recent DNA testing.Key Allegations: Betrayal and Surveillance
The mother expressed deep shock over reports that her own sister, Titilayo Labinjoh, has been in secret communication with the family patriarch, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, since the 2020 pandemic.
She characterized the situation as a "betrayal from within," even citing scripture (Matthew 10:36) to describe the rift in her household. Beyond family issues, she leveled serious accusations against the Adelekes, including:
- Misuse of Power: Alleging the family is using influence and "dirty money" to manipulate the situation.
- Surveillance: Claiming a relative was hired specifically to monitor her family’s movements.
- Safety Concerns: Stating clearly, "If anything happens to me, my daughter, or my mom, the police should hold [the Adelekes] responsible."
The DNA Dispute: "Post the Results!"
The core of the conflict lies in conflicting reports about DNA tests. While Dr. Adedeji Adeleke recently claimed the family organized several tests in 2020 to settle the matter, Anu’s mother is calling his bluff.
"Anu and I never met with you in 2020 for four additional DNA tests," she stated firmly, challenging the billionaire to make any alleged results public.
She also addressed rumors regarding Davido’s cousin, B-Red, clarifying that those speculations originated from an old interview with blogger Kemi Olunloyo and have no basis in reality.
A Message to Dr. Adeleke and Davido
Directly addressing the elder Adeleke, she insisted that child support is not the goal and that she is not "negotiating" like other partners. She called for the singer himself to take responsibility.
"Sir, you should not be talking on David’s behalf," she asserted. "Let David address me... David is obviously a boy and not a man."
